New Delhi:– Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature called “Chat Forwarding.” It allows a user to transfer data from one Android device to her another Android device using the local network. According to WAbetaInfo, the company is still in the development stage, so it plans to add new features in future updates to the app.
This feature will allow users to transfer their chat history to new devices by scanning a QR code. This eliminates the need for Google Drive, so users won’t have to back up their chat data to a cloud service if they want to transfer chats from one device to another, the report said. Meanwhile, WhatsApp has also launched proxy support for users around the world, like the millions of people in Iran and elsewhere who continue to be denied the right to communicate freely and privately. You will then be able to connect to WhatsApp through servers set up by volunteers and organizations around the world dedicated to enabling people to communicate freely.
