Samsung’s unveils slidable Flex Hybrid OLED panels

New Delhi: Samsung Display has announced the latest in its Flex Hybrid OLED, a panel that can be folded and slid. These panels will be used in future smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers. According to tech news website GSM Arena, the panel unfolds from one side and slides to enable a larger 10.5-inch display with a 4:3 ratio and a larger 12.4-inch panel with a 16:10 ratio. to A normal smartphone footprint.

New products and two sliding panels will be on display at CES 2023 in Las Vegas later this week. The 14-inch OLED panel can be extended to a 17.3-inch screen by pulling out the Flex Slideable Solo and Flex Slideable Duet projects from one (or both) edges, reports GSM Arena. Samsung’s presence at CES 2023 will also mark the debut stage of new QD-OLED panels for TVs and monitors in the display division. Expected sizes are 77-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, 34-inch, and 49-inch ultra-wide-angle variants, according to GSM Arena.
