Samsung rolls out Android 13-based One UI 5 update for Galaxy F23 smartphone

New Delhi: South Korean tech giant Samsung released the Android 13-based One UI 5 update for the Galaxy F22 and then rolled it out for its Galaxy F23 smartphones. According to tech news website GSM Arena, the new update comes with the latest version of Android and a custom Samsung Android skin.

The One UI 5 update for the Samsung Galaxy F23 has firmware version E236BXXU1BVL1 and requires a download of approximately 2.7 GB. It comes with the usual One UI 5 goodies, but the F23’s Android security patch level is bumped to November 2022 instead of December 2022.

Samsung is rolling out the Android 13-based One UI 5 update for its smartphones. The company also assured users that it aims to make future One UI versions even faster and to more devices at the same time.

Meanwhile, Samsung has decided to unplug the A7x, the top dog in its A-series smartphone lineup. A new rumor for next year and beyond is that the A7x device will be gone.
