Haven’t logged in to Twitter for long time? Your Twitter account may be DELETED –Check details

New Delhi: Twitter users who are inactive on microblogging sites for long periods of time may lose their Twitter accounts. Twitter boss Elon Musk has said the social media site may take action against inactive account holders.

Musk said in a tweet that Twitter will soon start unlocking its namespace of 1.5 billion accounts. He further commented on the query, and Musk added that these were clear account deletions and that he hadn’t tweeted or logged in in years.

Twitter has announced that it will be retiring its “Moments” feature, which first launched in 2015 and allows curated collections of tweets that users can create.

According to the company, existing Moments will remain on the platform, but users will not be able to create new Moments.

“Not all moments last. As of today, we are removing the option to create moments for most users as we focus on improving other experiences,” the company posted.

“You can view past Moments and follow live events on Twitter,” he added.

As part of Elon Musk’s dream to make Twitter a decluttered experience, the company has also removed the “Tweet from” label for most users.
