New Delhi: To celebrate India’s Republic Day 2023 on Thursday, January 26th, Google has created a special doodle drawn by Ahmedabad, Gujarat-based guest artist Parth Kothekar. His doodles today are made from intricately hand-cut paper. Additionally, many elements of the Republic Day parade have been added to the artwork, including the Rashtrapati Bhavan (where the President resides), India Gate, CRFP marching force, and motorcycle riders.
“Various parades are held across the country to celebrate the national holiday, but the largest is held on Rajpath, New Delhi’s ceremonial thoroughfare. Indian Army regiments and tableaus representing cultural and historical heritage march through the streets after the festival, followed by a Beat Retreat ceremony on the evening of 29 January, where the Indian national anthem is played. As it flows, the saffron, white and green Indian flag is hoisted,” Google India wrote with a special graffiti.
The whole country is celebrating the 74th Republic Day on Thursday, January 26 with great enthusiasm and patriotism. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi is the guest of honor at the 74th Republic Day celebrations.
