Former Microsoft CEO, co-founder and business mogul Bill Gates says he’s using the flagship Samsung smartphone instead of the Microsoft Surface Duo. During a recent Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Reddit, Gates revealed that his daily driver is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 flagship smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 was presented to Gates during his visit to South Korea by Samsung Chairman Jay Y. Lee. The former CEO of Microsoft also said he praised Samsung’s smartphones.
Note that Gates used a Samsung foldable phone instead of a Microsoft Surface Duo for a while. Additionally, Gates said he upgraded from a Galaxy Z Fold 3 to a Galaxy Z Fold 4, indicating that this isn’t the first time he’s opted to use Samsung’s foldable device as his everyday driver.
In addition to his foldable smartphone, Gates uses a Windows desktop PC and a Windows laptop for his daily work, according to media reports. The former Microsoft CEO also revealed that he spends a significant portion of his time using Microsoft software, even though he uses a Samsung smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is one of the premium smartphones available today. The Z Fold 4 is priced from Rs 1,54,999 for the base 256 GB storage model. A former Microsoft executive assumes that in India he was given his 1TB storage + 12GB RAM model for Rs 1,84,999.
Samsung currently dominates the foldable market with the company’s fourth-generation foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is a sleek and advanced foldable that most of its rivals are trying to replicate. One of the most recommended smartphones for 2022, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is a productivity-focused tablet-cum-phone that brings much-needed camera upgrades.
