New Delhi: Prices for Twitter’s recently relaunched Blue subscription have been revealed in India and could be higher than Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. According to rumors leaked on Twitter, the Blue subscription will cost his iOS users in India Rs 999 per month.
Earlier this week, Elon Musk launched Twitter Blue in the US and other countries. Only a few countries such as the US, Canada and New Zealand currently offer Blue, but the company has promised to expand availability to include India. There was no Prior to this, Musk had promised to take into account geographic price parity. However, several iOS users have been asked to sign up for Twitter Blue before it officially launches in India for 999 rupees per month. Amazon Prime costs Rs 129 per month in India, while streaming giant Netlfix’s basic subscription costs Rs 199.
To alleviate the initial confusion, Twitter now includes colored checkmarks. Introducing two of his badges, a new “gold” checkmark exclusively for Twitter for Business accounts, and the traditional blue checkmark. In addition, the business will introduce a new “gray” checkmark to government-held Twitter usernames.
Undo tweets, themes, bookmarks, and other features are also available on Twitter Blue. The ad-free experience is not available to Twitter Blue subscribers. However, Twitter guarantees that subscribers see only half as many ads as free members.
