Bharti Airtel expands its 5G network in 5 more cities; Is your city in the list? Check here

New Delhi: On Monday, Bharti Airtel launched 5G services in Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Kanpur and Phrayaguraj in Uttar Pradesh. In addition to those five cities, Airtel’s 5G service is already live in Lucknow and Varanasi. “Airtel 5G Plus service will be made available to customers in phases as the company continues to build out its network and complete its deployment,” the operator said in a release.

“Customers with 5G-enabled devices can enjoy the high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no additional charge until deployment becomes more widespread,” he added. Airtel has listed locations in these five cities where 5G is operational. The company plans to beef up its network and eventually make the service available statewide, the release said.

Uttar Pradesh CEO Sovan Mukherjee said: Headquartered in India, Airtel is a telecommunications service provider with over 500 million customers in his 17 countries in South Asia and Africa.
